Teaching Safety — Empowering God’s Children Program
Parents: You should have received a letter home from your children on October 6th with information about a new program the Diocese of Rockford has required as part of our ongoing effort to help create and maintain a safe environment for children and to protect all children from sexual abuse. Below are the attached documents for you to review in advance of this lesson for your child(ren).
Partners in FAITH
Partners in Faith is the only publication designed especially to give Catholic parents the practical help and support they need to raise faithful Catholic children. Produced by Success Publishing, LLC, this is a great resource to read together with your children each month. Click the picture to the right to enlarge and read or click HERE for a .pdf verson. Hard copies will be available each month in the parish hall!
If you are new to our parish or plan to register your student for the first time, please read the Registration Letter for New Students.
We are now taking registration for the 2019-2020 school year. Our registration will be done online this year and payment can be made by credit card or checking/savings deduction right from the secure site. Click the student registration button above for our registration site. Or see this link: https://www.osvhub.com/st-katharine-drexel-cath-church/forms/re-registration
Religious Education classes are offered for Kindergarten (age 5 by Sept. 1) through 8th grade. Classes are taught on Sunday mornings. We have two sessions. The first session is at 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. and the second session begins at 10:30 a.m. and concludes at 11:30 a.m. Both sessions run during the 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass times. Please indicate which session you would prefer and we will try to oblige. Registration is considered complete once the form is completed and turned into the office along with the registration tuition and fee. For questions about our program, please contact Pat Weis, Director of Religious Education, email@example.com.
RE Traffic Flow
Please observe the traffic flow as shown on the map below when dropping off and picking up students for Religious Education classes during the 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Masses. The traffic flow, drop off and pick up locations have been designed to provide maximum safety for our students. Please be patient as you enter and leave the parking lot when classes are scheduled.
