Eager to Love
The Alternative Way of Francis of Assisi
by Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM

EagerToLoveBookCoverJoin Fr. Dan Peters and John Gambro as they facilitate a book discussion on Eager to Love: The Alternative Way of Francis of Assisi. The discussion will explore the unique Franciscan charism and spirituality so that as members of the SKD faith community we may reflect on how we can live a life consistent with our mission statement – a life with a joyful spirit and a deeper appreciation of Christ’s love for us. Discover how you, like Pope Francis, can be inspired by the Franciscan virtues of joy, humility, and a commitment to the poor!

We will meet for three weeks.
Tuesday October 3rd, 10th and 17th
7:00-8:30PM.

Please purchase your own book and read the first three chapters prior to our first discussion. Questions??? Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program for 2017 - 2018 has begun but it is not too late for you to join us this year! The RCIA program is designed for individuals interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and becoming Catholic. It is also for individuals who were baptized Catholic, but for some reason, did not receive all of the sacraments as a child.

RCIA meetings are held every Wednesday night from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at church. We will welcome new members at the Easter Vigil on March 31, 2018.
