Crown of Thorns
“Weaving a crown out of thorns, they placed it on his head, and a reed in his right hand.  And kneeling before him, they mocked him.  Saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” Mt 27:29

Take part in our parish project led by our Religious Education Program! We all carry our thorns; things we don’t like about ourselves or we do things that we know we could do better. But the beauty is, God forgives. God forgives us all our failings, all our burdens. If we ask Him. So please, take a moment to consider your “thorn”, something you strive to improve upon this Lenten season, and then place it on the Crown of Thorns that is displayed in the parish hall.

Forgiven: The Transforming Power of Confession
    April 7-9 at 7pm OR April 8-10 at 9:30am
Forgiven explores the grace and healing offered in Confession and shows how this sacrament of mercy reveals the depth and bounty of God’s love. By looking at God’s revelation of his mercy in Scripture and making a step-by-step examination of the Rite itself, Forgiven communicates God’s invitation to each one of us to come experience his indescribable love in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
